History

Klm International School Pathankot, a pioneer institution, is targeting at developing an educational experience design to promote the maximum potential of its students and to challenge and assist them to become competent, thoughtful, contributing members of society. We recognize the need of laying solid foundation upon which to construct the future for our students. It is our endeavour to encourage students to be curious logical, unique and creative thinking.

Nobel laureate Rabindernath Tagore once said, “Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high, a mind full of confidence and courage and is a mind without fear”. Our aim is to provide holistic education to our children. It is the objective of a good institute to bring out the best in every child. (KLM International School, Pathankot since its humble beginnings under the able guidance of its school management committee has grown in magnitude and status).

KLM International School, Pathankot started from its humble beginnings in 16 April, 1997 and has grown by leaps and bounds to become one of the best schools in Pathankot. The school is housed in a permanent building in 15 acre land. The school has enough land to develop its infrastructure and to accommodate more number of students. The total strength of students in the school is 1200 as on date.

The school has classes running from LKG to XII standard. The school is affiliated to CBSE, Affiliation no. 1630183 vide Letter No. CBSE/Aff./EX-01159-151/2015-16 dated 09/09/2014. The school has adequate teaching/ training aids, which are effectively utilised in classroom teaching.

School is following syllabus as prescribed by CBSE Subjects which are required to be studied in various classes and books to be used are in accordance with cbse.The school is adhering to the guidelines issued by CBSE. Dress for PT/Games is also being followed strictly.

Spacious playground along with Basket Ball, Volley ball, 02 badminton courts, a big ground for cricket with two net practice pitches and T.T. room help in honing the children skills in outdoor and indoor sports activities. In addition to this, the classes of Karate for self-defence, Yoga and Gymnastics are also conducted for their overall development. The various play equipment is also provided to the primary children.
